Nintendo Direct November 2015

I have no idea what to expect from the Nintendo Direct coming up. One rumor I read suggests that six DLC characters for Smash will be revealed, and that Super Mario Sunshine will get an HD remake and F-Zero X will get a 3DS remake.

As weird as it sounds I am a bit nervous to find out who the next DLC fighters for Smash will be, considering at least one will be revealed in the Direct. People bring up King K. Rool, Wolf, Shovel Knight, Shantae, the Inklings, Daisy, and Krystal a lot now when it comes to Smash. And if that rumor is real I am ready to play Super Mario Sunshine again in HD graphics and F-Zero X on the go! And I'd love to have Daisy, King K. Rool, and Wolf in Smash. All I know is that tomorrow my FaceBook home page will be filled with Nintendo Direct stuff.

People always say Daisy would be a clone of Peach. That could happen but it wouldn't make sense for that to happen because Daisy is different from Peach. People thought Rosalina would be a Peach clone but obviously that didn't happen.

Welp, Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy 7 was confirmed for Smash. Yet another 3rd Party character, and one who is more of a PlayStation guy too. Oh well, better than Geno I suppose. I guess literally anyone can join Smash now that Cloud has made it in. I also highly doubt Cloud was a choice from the Fighter Ballot, I didn't hear much people wanting this guy.

A special Smash Bros Broadcast will be coming in December. See you in December Wolf.

I'm reassured that Cloud was not part of the ballot's votes, I'm still surprised though as this character comes from a Playstation game. FF7 is one of the rare I finished so I appreciate the characters and muscis that will be added.

I still have hopes for the December smash broadcast about decent Nintendo characters, I want my Daisy with karting outfit and violence

Other than that, the Badge arcade game is addictive and I have already put 3€ in it (and sucked ) but the Bunny is really cool.

I can't wait for Mario Paper Jam and the typo game looks cute with a nice atmosphere.


I'm not over hyped about the Zelda Twilight Princess HD remaked as to be honest, I didn't see a lot of difference with the original.


Oh and at last but not least I got pisser by the female Link becoming official. Be prepared to have hentai about her and Link everywhere

I have not played any Final Fantasy games, I only own two PS1 games which I play on my PS2. (Crash Team Racing and Pac-Man World) But if Cloud being in means no Geno I'm satisfied with him.

The Badge Arcade game came out in the US a few days ago, I did play it for a little bit and got some badges like Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Bowser, Paratroopa, Goomba, and a Piranha Plant. It might become addictive just like how I'm addicted to Pokemon Shuffle...

The Japanese Direct showed off more characters for the new Mario & Sonic. Rosalina (complete with new sports outfit/leotard), Sticks, Dry Bones, Wave, Ludwig, and Wendy! I swear if the Koopalings are playable then this will be the best Mario & Sonic game! This game is going to have a ton of characters it seems. I can assume the rest of the Deadly Six and the other Koopalings will be in the game.

I agree for the orange princess and as Luigi said, Daisy having a sport outfit insead of a dress making her similar to the other one would be a good idea. She could be very fast and used sport items as combos like throwing basket balls. Or attacking with flower petals, I'm dreaming.

I made a moveset for Daisy a few months ago, it was based on the sports games for the most part, mainly the Strikers games.

Paper Jam won't be out for a while here in the US (end of January?), just like what happened with Dream Team. Oh well I'm not really into the RPG games so I can wait a little while for Paper Jam.

About Mega Man Legacy, I'm not too sure. Depends on the price and if it comes with anything special. Here in America the game comes bundled with a Gold Mega Man amiibo.

Cloud Strife being in Smash is not the end of the world. I don't think he's the most deserving character (better than Geno) but he's not the worst character choice out there. He's sort of popular in Japan. At least he's not a Smash Bros Fighter Ballot character choice. Hopefully no more 3rd Party characters too.

The Nintendo Badge Arcade game really is addictive, I used to love crane machines when I was younger too.

The Mario & Sonic game was only in the Japan Direct it seems, it wasn't in the North America one. I'm really glad to see the Koopalings, hopefully all of them will be in. I don't think Toad and Toadette will be playable, the 3DS version has the Soccer (Football) event and it has various Toads as your teammates it seems. The Japan Direct did show some new artwork for Toad and Toadette for Mario Tennis Ultra Smash though.

Gold Mega Man amiibo will probably just end up being very rare and expensive like the Gold Mario amiibo... as long as Gold Mega Man isn't exclusive to Walmart like Gold Mario.

After looking at the event they showed Rosalina doing in this new trailer (and the one with Daisy in the first trailer) I don't think Toad and Toadette would be able to do that one because they don't have legs. Unless they're going to do like they did with the 3DS version of the last Summer Olympics and certain characters are grouped together and can only do certain events. (doesn't look like they're doing that though)

I don't mind Cloud. What most people talked about in my newsfeed was the Zelda remake of Twilight Princess HD. Some are hyped and happy, some are meh, and a real war started. Such a shame to start a war about excitation toward a game we can disagree without hatred

My home page on FaceBook has been full of stuff about Cloud as well as a little bit of Twilight Princess HD. People's reactions towards Cloud seem to be mixed. Either they're happy for him or they're very upset because they don't know him, he's not Geno, and he's another sword fighter. His Final Smash seems similar to Ike's but that doesn't make him a clone or anything.

Well, that is true we have enough swords fighters... But complaining will be useless so let's enjoy what we have. Was just weird as FF7 was a Playstation game. Looking forward to the next broadcast.

Sometimes you'll get one free play from playing on the Practice Catcher, that happened to me today. It seems like the main purpose to use your actual money though, this game and Pokemon Shuffle are slowly taking away my money! XD Too addicting!

I think the Broadcast will show off the last (two?) characters as well as talk about them and Cloud as the Direct didn't say anything about Cloud. Cloud will probably be released after the Broadcast too, just like with Lucas/Roy/Ryu. There's at two more characters according to Dataminers who have found three empty character slots, Cloud now being one of them. People are hoping for five more characters which would be nice. We need Daisy, King K. Rool, and Wolf!

I hope people aren't seriously expecting Shrek and Goku. XD I like Shrek but he'll never be in Smash. Microsoft is okay with Banjo being in Smash.

Paper Jam won't be out in America until 2016 XD I'm not in a big hurry for that game so it's not a big deal.

There's quite a bit of support for Goku and Shrek. I don't know why. Shrek would be hilarious to have though.

I haven't played his games either (I have a Nintendo 64 but apparently N64s hate Samsung TVs so I can't use it) but I did want him in now. Now there's too many 3rd parties (in my opinion) so I don't want anymore. If we really need another one then I'd want Snake, Banjo, or Rayman despite never playing any of their games.

Also has anyone gotten the Daisy badge in the Nintendo Badge Arcade? Apparently she and Rosalina are now in there based on some screenshots, might be the European version though because they are not there in my game. We had some of the other characters like Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Bowser, and some enemies. (I have all of them but I don't think you can get them now)

I think it's safe to say characters who did not originate from a video game may as well be considered impossible for Smash. The only boundary left really is that "X character is from a /video game/ franchise".

As for who I would want to see...I'd much prefer the Inkling. It's a new, unique character who would play differently, and frankly, that's what I want. I'm more so annoyed by Cloud because at the end of the day, Nintendo does all the backscratching and they get a mildly successful portable game, while PS4 gets a Final Fantasy 7 remake.

I think Cloud's only appearance in any game released on a Nintendo console was a Kingdom Hearts game. I'm not bothered that he's in Smash but his game not being on a Nintendo console while he is appearing in a Nintendo All-Star game is rather odd.

A Kingdom Hearts game on GBA, and a couple of Final Fantasy spin-offs on 3DS. Aside from that, yeah, no history. Square and Nintendo were huge buddies back in the day, so I guess they just wanted the definitive face of Final Fantasy representing them.

His inclusion makes as much sense as Ryu. Two characters from a series that used to be prominent on Nintendo systems, not so much anymore.

The new Street Fighter isn't even going to be on Wii U as far as I know. I think some of the older ones may have been on Nintendo consoles though.

Indeed it is not. Street Fighter 4 was on 3DS as the most recent entry to the franchise on a Nintendo system. As for back then, just about every version of Street Fighter 2 was on the SNES.
