A mysterious purple creature..

This afternoon was really quiet, so quiet that Daisy was sure nothing would happen that day. She decided to leave her throne alone and went to her bathroom. She turned the water on and started to hum a song. A few minutes later, she was relaxing in her bath. The princess kept singing, not that she was singing very well but the noise she was making was enough to cover the sound of the knocking on the door.

"Soooomedayyy my prince, will cooooome!"

Her eyes closed, she was shouting while playing with the bath bubbles.

He knocked several times again and waited again getting kinda stressful watching around and hoping the door will soon open..
"Now.. I realise how hot it is here" He said to himself quietly..

She started to wash her face, forcing her to stop singing for a few seconds. That's when she finally heard the knock on the door. She opened her eyes and raised her head, her face covered with foam.

"Huh? What's that?

Then, another knock, louder, making her startle in her bath. She sighed. She was supposed to have a few minions doing this kind of job, but they were useless and never around at the right time. She shouted.

"I'M COMING!!"

She grabbed a large towel and wrapped it around herself before walking down to the main door. She wasn't even ashamed to open the door dressed up like this, but princess manners were not part of her main habit.

The "little monster" tryed to take a "scary stance" and shouted a little scream
"RAWR"
The monster giggled a little hopping to have been at least a bit scary,then,put out her mask.
HEYA! It's me Toadette!! How do you like my Halloween costume?!
She suddently noticed how Daisy was dressed
"...Oh wait,did i disturb you?! Im sorry if i did.. "

Daisy opened her eyes and stepped back, she raised a fist about to punch the little monster, but Toadette removed her mask just in time.

"Oh my God Toadette!!!"

She calmed down and put her hand on her chest.

"You are crazy!! You shouldn't wear that costume!! I thought you were Tatanga! In his... Little imp form..."

She smiled a bit, reassured and happy about Toadette's visit.


"Don't worry you don't disturb me! I was done anyway. I completely forgot about Halloween as well!"

"Teehee,im kinda proud that costume worked well!"
She laughed proudly while watching her mask,then look up to the eyes of Daisy.
"And phew.. Well maybe i could help you getting an Halloween costume?"
She smiled to her.

She laughed a bit while inviting her to come in.

"Ha! For sure if your purpose was to scare me, you scared me!"

She said while frowing with a smirk.

"It actually would be a good idea. I'm bad with finding costumes so I would appreciate your help! I want to be scary. Be more scary than you will be hard though... But I count on you !"


She winked before quickly running upstairs to put her dress and crown on, and came back to her friend.

Enter slowly in the castle,the mask in her hands
"To be fair,it has another purpose,and for the disguise,i might have something uhm.."
Toadette looks at her with a mysterious and interogative look and said quietly
"C-can we go talk somewhere...more private?..."

The princess tilted her head, looking down at the little mushroom.

"Oh, sure, follow me!"

She walked to her living room, which was empty as her useless servants were apparently out today. She closed the door behind them and sat on the sofa, making room for her friend.

"Are you okay Toadette?"

Toadette looked at Daisy, smiling less than before entering and sat on the sofa calmy while talking to Daisy.
"Well.. Me I am... But... You remember Tota.. Tanta... I mean you remember that little purple alien that inspired that costume?"
She looked more sad as the more she was talking.
"Well... We encountered him with Toad... And his army kidnapped him.. I just nearly escaped, I wouldn't have been able to save him on my own, they were too much and too well-equiped.."
She started to cry a little bit.
"I-I-I really hope that.. He is okay..."

Daisy opened her eyes, shocked. Her heartbeat accelerated a bit, she wasn't scared, but this name brought back a lot of bad memories to her. She thought that alien was a story from the past, why did he come back, now, and why did he kidnap Toad? He used to kidnap her because he has an obsession but why the poor little mushroom? That was obviously a trap. There was no way this alien could be interested in a Toad. She frowned and clenched her fist, holding Toadette against her with her other arm patting her back.


"Don't worry Toadette. He will not do anything to him. He just uses him as a bait, because he probably spies me and knows you're my friend, meaning I will go and find him. Sadly for him, he has no idea how I grew up stronger since we last met..."

Toadette slowly stopped to cry,she sniffed a bit and clean her eyes of her tears with her right hand and looked up to Daisy.

"Well,he had a lot of minions with him.. And all of them where equiped with weapons..at least from what i've seen"

She sniffed another time and tried to smile.

"A-anyway I.. I've come with a plan to save him! And i need your help.."

She raised an eyebrow, folding her arms.

"Minions you say? How did they look like? What kind of weapons did they have?!
Sorry...What is your plan, dear?"

She looked at her and listened with attention.

"Well.. They all looked like.. Hum.. That little purple alien im dressed like! And they had some sort of gun but it looked dangerous but ANYWAY"
She takes off another taller costume of the same model in her own costume and give it to Daisy.
"I've made one for you! ..At least tried im not sure about your height and stuff.. But here is the plan.. With theses disguises,we will go to his ship and we will save Toad! Maybe we could also defeat..."
She does a briefly pause to be sure to say it correctly
"..Tatanga with theses! What do you think?!"
She smilied at her,hoping to see Daisy to agree to save Toad with her.

"What? Several mini Tatangas? Mmh... Well, at least this time he didn't try to hypnotize MY minions..."

Daisy looked down at Toadette and took the costume. She had a close look at the suit : it was really well made, and she was surprised of the quality, she had no idea Toadette was a proper little seamstress. She smiled and nodded.

"I am sure it's going to be fine. That's an amazig work by the way. Ok we can try that. If he finds out it's me, I don't mind anyway. I'm not scared to fight him, he wont fight back. He wouldn't hurt me. He wants me in a "perfect" condition to display me in his cage...Well, if that's still his plan"

She looked at her a bit worried.
"Okay but be careful,i don't want you to get hurt.. Oh and by the way.."
She started to look away,uncomfortable.
"I-im not skilled enough to make that actually.. I asked Cloy T.{{I.. Tried to create a female Toad ^^' }} some help to make it.. I just barely helped.."
She became more serious and taken the mask back on her head ready to go.
"Anyway,personally im ready to go! I'll wait for you!"

"Oh... Don't worry it's still good, helping counts!"

The princess patted the mushroom's head with a smile.

"I am ready too. Shall we put the suits on now or later? How far are they exactly?"

She smiled,closing her eyes while she patted her head
"Personally,I will still wear it to be used to it.. It's kinda heavy to be honest,and least for me..."
She laughs in a shy manner..
"But if I remember well,we aren't too far.. Also,that's why I needed to talk to you here because i've seen some of them looking for me since they know i've seen them.."

If they saw Toadette and were looking for her, it definitely meant they weren't too far now. But, it didn't seem to disturb Daisy, who just shrugged, without panicking. They knew her castle by heart and if they wanted to come, they would have attacked ages ago. She rolled her eyes, and looked up, thinking.

"mmh, well, if the watch us, they will see us leaving the castle dressed up as purple ugly men and will know it's us. I don't know how we can proceed..."

She realised and started to think about it... She looked around to find some ideas and found some ropes lying on the floor and she snapped her fingers then looked at Daisy, nervous about the idea.
"It's a crazy one, but I might have an idea!"
She turned around, looking at Daisy and pointed the ropes.
"MAYBE we could use this ropes to simulate that I'm a real minion and that i've kidnapped you? But it's kinda risky.."

"Mmh... You know what? Actually, it's not a bad idea. It will probably seem less weird than if we both leave tha castle as aliens, with nothing between her hands. Let's do that!"

She looked quite excited about the idea and raised her fists.

"You'll see, I'm quite a good actress, after seeing Peach crying for help so many times, I learned a bit..."


She giggled and sat, waiting for Toadette to put the ropes around her.

"Teehee,well I guess this talent will be useful now!"
She laughed a little and walk happily to the ropes,then takes them and goes back to Daisy and put ropes around her enough to make it stay this way but not too much to let Daisy be able to be freed of theses ropes at any time.
"I guess that should work... Hmmm..."
She started to re-think the plan,she actually have no idea how to carry her or if she's able to..

The ropes were tight enough give the illusion she couldn't move, but loose enough so she could escape at anytime. She stood up and walked a bit, with a smile.

"I'm okay and ready!"

She looked back at Toadette who seemed lost in her toughts. But for some reasons, Daisy understood what she was worrying about and moved her head on the side.


"Don't worry, just walk in front of me and pull the rope, I will pretend you're strong and will follow you, giving the impression I'm struggling!"

She smiled at her, happy she understood.
"Thanks!.. Uhm okay im ready too LET'S GO!!"
Toadette put herself in front of Daisy and pulled the rope with Daisy,trying to look menacing and also trying to move correctly with the costume but succeding pretty well.
"Rawr.. Uhm.. Well, does theses creatures even have a noise or they just talk?"
