[Open RP, anyone can join].

It was a late night in the Mushroom Kingdom, and stars shone brightly about in the dark blue sky.

Iggy had stealthily infiltrated Bowser's Castle, trying to keep a low profile. He was after a very specific ingredient for his current experiment.

The koopaling sneaked by a couple of sleeping goombas. He cautiously stepped over them and noticed a room. Trying not to make a sound, (which is difficult when you're a koopa that usually laughs uncontrollably), he peeked inside. "Nothing..." he quietly said to himself.

He then walked out of the room and moved on. He made sure his voice was set to a mere whisper as he continued, "I must find that delightful....hehehe...sodium metal!"

Lemmy has followed Iggy in his sneaky path. Seeing him going away, he runs to join him and says without paying attention of talking quietly.

Hello Iggy! What are you doing here?

Iggy didn't expect another being to arrive next to him at this hour, for most residents of the Mushroom Kingdom were fast asleep. He jumped up in surprise when he heard the high pitched voice behind him. "Whaaaaah!"

He quickly turned around noticed Lemmy was right behind him.

Lemmy's tone had been loud and he made a hand signal for him to keep his voice down. "We mustn't be waking up any residents from their slumbers," whispered Iggy. Then he paused, taking a deep breath. "I'll tell you why I'm out here," he continued. "I'm searching for something called sodium metal. It's a silver-white solid made up of various elements, such as magnes--no, no, this isn't important!" He shook his head. "I mean...ahem...I need to find some sodium metal. Mind accompanying me?" he grinned at his brother.

He nodded his head in agreement when he tells him to keep his voice down and answered quietly Oh im sorry... Sure, im really curious about all of this! Also, He takes a balloon of behind is back is there some sodium metal in that ball maybe? He hoped that could help him even if he didn't realised that was just kinda silly

Iggy snickered and took the balloon from Lemmy, shaking his head. "Lemmy," he began, an overly-confident smirk forming across his face. "This is a balloon...It would weigh much more in mass and drop to the ground rather quickly if it contained a chunk of sodium metal. Hehehehe."

He swiftly grabbed his brother's arm and began to walk in another direction. "I hadn't a single sliver of luck in Bowser's Castle," said the studious koopa. "We'd best head out and find another route. I'm well aware if we continue to travel in that direction...We may come across a forest. That might be our best bet..."

Lemmy followed him as he still grab his balloon with his other arm.

Maybe this balloon can help us?.. In some way.... But you really wanna go in the forest at dark?! I've heard they are monster in there especially at night...

He was starting to get scared.. He can be easily intimidated but he always hides it to the others persons.

Because Iggy knew his brother well, he noticed a hint of fear in his eyes and he wrapped an arm around him for comfort.

"No need to be concerned!" he began, forcing his tone to be optimistic.

"I'll be right here for you the whole time. I'll admit it can be relatively...dangerous...in a dark forest, but none can touch these two amazing koopa brothers!" He grinned, in attempt to cheer Lemmy up a little.

"Help us?" he studied the balloon that Lemmy held. "Hmm. It's possible it could be of use. After all, if we need to enter any high places..."

Lemmy looks at Iggy, less scared and smile to him while looking to his balloon.

Hehe yeah sure.. We are invincible!! ^^ He hugged his balloon to confort him as well. Is the forest far away! Im getting confident! I wanna fight the forest, hahaha!!

Iggy smiled back at his adorable brother and gave him a reassuring tap on the back.

Once he realized Lemmy was feeling a little better, he simply continued to walk alongside him.

"If we stay together, there shouldn't be that many detrimental occurrences in the forest. Eerie or not, I believe we can manage...Although I'm not positive of the exact location, the forest should be along a certain pathway...Hmm..." He strained his eyes and wiped off his glasses to see better.

"Wait a minute, could that be it?" He pointed to a dark path, leading far away from Bowser's Castle, with only dark trees surrounding it, blowing mysteriously in the wind. "C'mon, let's go investigate!" His excitement took over as he began to run towards the pathway.

Lemmy followed him, being a bit scared at first but right after, get courageous and being ready for the forest.

YEAH, YEAH, INVISTEGISATION!!! He said, not sure of the pronunciation and followed him kinda excited, getting ready while still holding his little balloon.

Iggy turned around and grinned, giving his smaller brother a hand signal to follow him. His deranged nature seemed to match up with the eerie wind blowing through the trees as he made his way into the deep, dark forest.

"Investigation indeed." He chuckled at his brother's mispronunciation.

As the duo traveled further into the forest, it seemed to get darker and more deserted. Although it could've scared Iggy, he barely noticed, for the sodium metal search was implanted in his brain. He turned to face Lemmy. "How are you holding up? Not too terrified, I presume?" he inquired.

Then he glanced at the balloon Lemmy was holding onto.

Lemmy was following Iggy, the darker it was, the more scared he became, holding tight is balloon close to him. However, as Iggy talked, he answered in a courageous tone, getting suddently confident.

Y-YES! I am a Koopaling with NO FEARS!!

He holds his balloon in one hand instead of keeping it close to him and continued to follow Iggy, uncertain of his brother's actions.

But where are we going? There is nothing interessing in this forest. Are you sure there would be that metal thingy you are looking for?.. Also, it's getting even harder to look where we are going...

"That is precisely right," answered the thin koopaling, soon turning around to face the smaller. "For now, it certainly seems as though this forest is dark and deserted. But there is one thing keeping me positive we are heading in the correct direction. You see..."

He explained to Lemmy that earlier he had seen a couple of koopas run through the forest. He knew they were into experimentation much like he was. They had made their way over to a lake with a couple of ingredients.

"It's apparent that sodium metal is highly reactive in water. It'll explode minutes after being thrown in. They might have used the lake as some sort of tester, you never know!"

"Uh.. Y-yeah.. I suppose.."

The little Koopaling answered, not being as good in science as his brother.

"So what is the plan? Steal that sodiom metal?" He said, curious and without being careful about the pronunciation again.

"I...I wouldn't go as far as putting it in that context," said Iggy, scratching the back of his neck a little hesitantly. "Besides, we cannot be certain if they're still in the same location at the moment. I suppose they'd have withdrawn by now. The last I saw of the group was several hours prior. But that's not to say they haven't left anything behind for us!" He gave Lemmy a reassuring look. "Trust me when I say I've seen those chemist Koopas around before, and they aren't quite as meticulous as some others. And on a side note," he added. "It's sodium metal." He winked at his brother after the mispronunciation.

"S.. Sodium metal?" He asked to be sure, still following his steps.

"Also, of course i trust you, you know way better what you are doing for sure!"

"That is correct!"

Iggy proceeded further on into the forest until he came across the lake. The water was still and mysterious, the moonlight shining in the water, it was a mirror with a nearly perfect reflection. "What do you know, we've found it!" exclaimed Iggy. "Now to find that sodium solid..." He began to look around frantically. "We know koopas were here previously with sodium metal...where would they leave it?" he began to search under rocks and in the grass. "Mind assisting me, Lemmy?" he asked Lemmy for help.

"Yes of cour- Oh no!"

Lemmy dropped his balloon by accident, he followed it. It bounced into a bush, he goes behind the bush as well to take the balloon. Then, stopped there and said to Iggy.

"I think i found something, bro!"

Iggy noticed Lemmy drop the balloon and he was about to pick it up for him, until he realized Lemmy had already followed it himself. He widened his eyes at the news that his smaller brother might have found something. A new breeze carried through the air as the slender koopaling wandered over to his brother, a shimmer of hope in his blue eyes. "Lemmy! Have you located something?" he wondered.

"I've found a weird cave... The balloon almost fall on it!"

There was a big hole behind this bush, you could hear some noise coming from it. There was also a long ladder to be able to climb down in safety.

"A...a weird cave?" Iggy echoed, following his brother towards the entrance. As he neared the bush, he saw that there was indeed a large cave around there with a neat ladder to climb in and out of it. Iggy turned to his brother and smiled. "I suppose it's possible those koopas went into this cave earlier. Although I didn't see them, it's a perfect, perfect place where they could've hidden the metal. Come on, let's explore it further!" Having a little bit of a risk-taking nature in him and being reckless most of the time, Iggy grabbed the ladder and it wobbled as he positioned himself on it to climb down. "I can FEEL the sodium metal, it has to be down here!" He started to chuckle maniacally like he always did.

" Ahah i was sure my balloon could be useful! Im following you! "

With his wand, he makes his balloon disapears, knowing he couldn't be able to hold the ladder and his balloon and the same time and carefuly taking the ladder after letting Iggy climbing down a little to let some space between the two. Lemmy wasn't too afraid of heights since he likes to climb up his giant balloons. He followed him, curious about that weird cave and feeling kinda proud to have found it even if it was with luck.

"Of course," answered Iggy, trying his best to keep his balance. Although he usually didn't have a problem with balance, considering the fact he could run upside down on ceilings, a wobbly ladder was a little different for him. He shortly glanced up at his brother to make sure he was safe as well, and he greatly admired the fact he could hold on so well. "Your stabilization is excellent," said Iggy, nodding his approval. "I'll be disappointed if I don't see you in a circus one day. Or ten."

He made his way downwards, slipping off for a moment. "Haaaah!" but he luckily caught his balance just in time, gripping tightly onto the ladder once again. "I'm fine."

Lemmy look at him, kinda worried but was then was reassured when he heard he was fine.

"Okay but be careful anyway, Iggy!" He answered, caring for the safety of his brother. "Also, thanks Iggy I also hope to see myself in one...." He sighed but then started to climb down again. "Oh, by the way, can you see the ground from here? Because I can't..."

“Right! I’ll attempt at being more cautious,” replied Iggy hastily as he continued to navigate his way downwards, tightly holding onto the steel bars of the ladder. “I think you’ve a great deal of potential to join a circus,” he went on. “You’re an incredibly flexible and talented acrobat, and that accounts for so much! You’d blow them all away, I know you’ve got it in you, Lemmy. Success is—”

He stopped abruptly when his brother asked him if he could see the bottom of the cave, and he changed the subject.

“I’ll check!” He titled his head downwards, squinting at the pitch black air surrounding him. However, it was a huge mistake, for his glasses fell right off of his face. He heard them hit the ground, but was unsure if they had broken or not.

“Blast it! My spectacles…I can’t see a thing!” Although the ladder wasn’t particularly fuzzy to Iggy, his distance vision was completely blurred. “Must have forgotten to adjust the stupid things,” he muttered to himself.
